Job Description and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

You will work as part of the product development team responsible for advanced laser development for our cutting-edge laser systems. Benefitting from Lasersec's advanced laser designs you will produce designs that ensure reliable operation of our lasers under all operating conditions. You will also work with the wider development team to test the performance of your designs. You will be required to provide support to the development teams building and testing prototype laser systems and assemblies.

Responsibilities include:

•Optical alignment, operation and testing of new and existing laser systems

•Building, optically aligning and testing new or improved lasers and sub-assemblies

•Supporting the product across all disciplines: optical, mechanical, electronic and software

Education and Work Experience

You will have:

•Hands-on experience of lasers in a research, development or production environment

•A completer/finisher who can follow tasks to a conclusion

•Hands on experience of electronics debugging

•Ability to work on multiple tasks and manage priorities

•Able to work without detailed instructions and be capable of working in isolation as well as part of the team

•Degree in laser technology or related subject is required
